The City of Birmingham Stadium is the name of the proposed stadium for Birmingham City F.C., to replace the current St Andrews Stadium.
The new stadium will be multi-purpose 50,000-seater stadium at the Wheel's Park site in the east of the city. Proposals for the stadium include moving tiers of seating, and it could also serve as a cricket and concert venue. There will also be a casino on site.

Wimbledon Centre Court will undergo development in time for the 2009 English Open, this will involve increasing the capacity of the Centre Court from 13,800 to 15,000 - and will have a retractable roof installed
This will greatly improve on the English Open due to the fact that a number of days play have been lost in recent years due to rain on the court.

Leicester Tigers have placed an application for a 20m stand with a capacity of 6,500. The stand will have two 23 story towers holding student accomodation at either end making it one of the tallest stands in the world. This will increase the capacity of the tigers stadium to over 19,000

The Arch at the new Wembley stadium is now being lifted, it will be lifted in stages of angle, 30, 65, 100 and 112 degrees. This marks a key milestone in the wembely stadium project.
