Abbasiyyin Stadium is located in the city of Damascus, the capital of Syria, on the Eastern edge of the Anti- Lebanon Mountains.The stadium is a multi-purpose facility and is the Syrian National stadium.The stadium was built in 1976, with the capacity for 45,000, and is currently used mostly for soccer games.
