Tallaght Stadium is a new football ground located in Tallaght, County Dublin. From the 2009 season it will the home of Shamrock Rovers Football Club.
Work on the stadium first took place in 1996 but was halted shortly after because a local GAA club wanted to use the ground for GAA purposes as well. However, Shamrock Rovers disagreed as it would mean lowering the capacity of one of the stands. A legal dispute ensued until December 2007 when the court ruled that the GAA club were not to be given permission for use of the stadium. Construction work carried on in early 2008 and is now finished, ready for the 2009 FAI League of Ireland Premier Division season.
Shamrock Rovers had previously played at Tolka Park, Morton Stadium and the RDS, as they had sold their own ground (Glenmalure Park) in 1987, believing that they would be in Tallaght by 1990.
Tallaght Stadium will officially in February 2009 with a capacity of ten thousand, which can be raised to eighteen thousand should the need arise.

The Maldron Hotel which sponsors the club is directly opposite the west stand. The hotel bar serves as a pub for pre-match drinks. The Dragon, Captain Americas and Metro are all nearby.
The away fans are accommodated in the corner of the west. This deemed safer as the west stand is known for seating families while the extremist fans mostly attend games in the east stand.
A number of chippers are located around the ground with other stalls selling drinks and snacks.
Match programs are priced at 10.
Admission for league games is 15 for general admission and 10 for kids under 16, OAPs and students.
On the Belgard Road, Tallaght. Opposite The Maldron Hotel.
