Howrah Municipal Stadium is situated at the Maidan in Kolkata (Calcutta); it current has two stands wither side of the pitch each with a capacity of 3,000 spectators. There are however plans to increase the capacity to 16,000 in the new future by building on the other two ends of the ground.
