Birmingham's Villa Park open in 1897 following a Leage and Cup double for Aston Villa, is one of the largest stadiums in the UK and it also has a lot of heritage. The main stand known as the 'Trinity Road End' was built in 1897 and has a brickworked facade which most other UK grounds never had. The Holte End holds a total of 13,500 which at the time of being built in 1993/1994 was the largest all seater stand behind a goal in the world. The record attendance at Villa Park was 76,588 - this was set on March 2nd 1946 during a game between Aston Villa and Derby County in the 6th round of the FA Cup.Villa Park
