National Stadium is located in Avarua, a town on Rarotonga Island and national capital of the Cook Islands, in the South Pacific Ocean.This Multi-purpose stadium opened in 2002 and holds 3,000 people.In October, the stadium hosts the Cook Islands National Athletics Championships, events including running, shot-put, discus throwing, javelin and etc.
