This F1 International motor racing circuit was designed by top circuit architect Hermann Tiike.The circuit opened on April 4th 2004 and each lap length is 3.381 mile/5.411 km.The circuit features a straight of more than a kilometer in length, followed by a sharp right hander thats useful for overtaking. The rest of the circuit is amix of quick and slow turns, plus another two substansial straights. The design of the buildings are designed to reflect the country Arabic culture. The paddock,pits and start finish areas have specially planted green foliage to provide a "oasis feel".
